About The Illustrations

Detail

You will not find this level of detail on any other print. If it's on the loco I endeavour to put it on the illustration!

Each subject is meticulously researched and is based on the original engineering drawings, but as these are not always correct they are thoroughly checked against photographs, published facts and – if one of the class exists – making a visit to take measurements and photographs.

The illustrations are produced to a scale of 8mm/ft and printed this size to ensure that all the detail can be viewed and appreciated. (The B17/4 'Footballers' are produced to 6mm/ft scale to enable them to be printed in smaller numbers).

Where else can you see details of the artwork shown 6 times larger than the printed size!

Reproduction

Most illustrations are printed on Heidelberg presses. The Footballers, because of the low print run, are produced on a digital press.

Limited Edition Prints

The maximum run of any of these prints is 500 (see individual prints for the number produced). This is well below the defined maximum for a ‘Limited Edition Print’ – which is 850 copies.

Signing and Numbering

All prints are individually signed and numbered.

Price

You can find prints a lot cheaper than these, but I'm sure you won't find this level of detail on them. Don't take my word for it compare these illustrations with any other prints you can buy!

I hope that people will come to appreciate the attention to detail and the work involved in achieving this.

Prints can be ordered online or if you prefer by post.
