The Bluebell Battle of Britain Locomotive Group have been awarded the 'Denys Fletcher' award for the restoration of No. 34059 Sir Archibald Sinclair by the Southern Railways Group. John Fry, Secretary of the Bluebell B.O.B. Loco Group, received the award at the Southern Railways Group AGM on Saturday 18th September. The restoration team are very pleased to receive this award, coming as it does from such a well respected institution as the SRG and would like to thank all their members and committee for the nomination. |

There has been very little corrective work undertaken on No. 34059 since she entered traffic in April. The locomotive has proved to be a reliable performer on the Bluebell and has required very little work other than the usual routine running maintenance and two boiler washouts. |
